The Area

Weavers Rest is set within the stunning rural countryside of Kent, on the estate of a beautiful 16th Century historic house on the edge of the village of Biddenden. From the doorstep of Weavers Rest you can walk to gastropubs, a fine dining restaurant in the village, the local farm shop, plentiful country walks, Sissinghurst Castle & Gardens, vineyards, Nick Faldo-designed Chart Hills Golf Club and the village of Biddenden with its post office, tea-shop, pub and take-aways. Headcorn station is a 5 minute drive away  (or bus ride) with regular trains from London in under an hour. 

A car, however is recommended  to appreciate the rest of the area's attractions. Weavers Rest is a 30 minute drive from the beautiful sandy beaches of Camber Sands and the stunning historic Cinque port town of Rye.  Bedgebury Pinetum, numerous National Trust properties, vineyards and Ashford designer shopping outlets are all under a 25 minute drive away.
